Verified Pro
TrustedHearth has independently confirmed this business's license, insurance, and online presence through our Trust Profile verification.
Our Verification Methods
Industry Certification Cross-Reference
We check CSIA (Chimney Safety Institute of America) and NFI (National Fireplace Institute) databases to verify professional certifications. Businesses with current CSIA or NFI credentials have their certifications displayed prominently on their listing.
Google Maps & Business Data
We verify business existence and location through Google Maps data, confirming address, phone, and operating status. Customer reviews and ratings from Google provide an immediate sense of a company's reputation.
Email Domain Verification
When a contractor claims their listing, we check that their email domain matches their business website — a simple but effective ownership signal that helps confirm the person claiming the listing actually operates the business.
Trust Profile URL Checks
Claimed businesses can submit their Yelp, Google Business, Facebook, and BBB profile URLs. We automatically verify these link to the correct business, cross-referencing name, phone, and location to build a comprehensive picture of online presence.
