TrustedHearth is not a chimney or fireplace contractor. We do not perform inspections, repairs, installations, or any other chimney or fireplace work. We are a directory and lead referral service only.

While we verify that listed professionals hold the certifications, licenses, and credentials they claim, we do not guarantee the quality of any work performed by a listed professional. Credential verification confirms that a professional has met certain industry or government standards — it is not a warranty of workmanship, timeliness, or customer satisfaction.

Any agreement for services is solely between you and the professional you contact. TrustedHearth is not a party to that agreement and has no responsibility for the outcome.

When you submit a contact form on TrustedHearth, we transmit your information to the specific business you selected. We are acting as a communication conduit — we are not a party to any agreement, transaction, or arrangement that may result from your inquiry.

Your contact information is sent to only the business you chose. We do not distribute your information to multiple contractors or sell leads.

Professionals who claim a listing on TrustedHearth are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide. This includes business contact details, service descriptions, certifications, and licensing information.

By claiming a listing, you represent that you are authorized to act on behalf of the listed business and that the information you provide is truthful and current. We reserve the right to remove or suspend any listing that contains inaccurate, misleading, or fraudulent information.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or programmatically extract data from TrustedHearth without written permission
• Submit false or misleading information through lead forms or account registration
• Impersonate another person or business, or misrepresent your affiliation with a business
• Use the site to harass, spam, or send unsolicited communications to listed professionals
• Attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the site, including introducing malware or conducting denial-of-service attacks
• Post fake reviews or ratings (when review features are available)

We reserve the right to block access or remove content from anyone who violates these terms.

The TrustedHearth name, logo, design, and original content are owned by TrustedHearth. Business listing information is provided by the respective businesses and public data sources. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our site content without written permission.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrustedHearth and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, your interactions with listed professionals, or any services performed by those professionals.

The site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in the State of New Jersey.
